Honored by her peers as a member of the Circle of Excellence of the National Storytelling Network, Lyn Ford is frequently featured at storytelling festivals throughout the U.S.A. and abroad. Her first book, Affrilachian Tales, was published by Parkhurst Brothers Publishers in 2012, winning the Anne Izard Storyteller’s Choice Award. In 2014, Lyn’s second book, Beyond the Briar Patch (Parkhurst Brothers) also won the Anne Izard Storyteller’s Choice Award. Lyn resides in Columbus, Ohio, the center of her work as a performing artist.
